Essay

The thesis is a theoretical-experimental study on the problem of training future teachers for preschoolers’ health-saving competence formation by means of game activity. In the thesis the terminological apparatus of the study on the problem of professional training of future teachers for preschoolers’ health-saving competence formation by means of game activity is characterized. The content of key definitions is disclosed: preschoolers’ health-saving competence, game activity in the formation of health-saving competence, training of future teachers for preschoolers’ health-saving competence formation by means of game activity. The state of development of the problem of training future teachers for preschoolers’ health-saving competence formation by means of game activity in the theory and practice of professional training is revealed. The model of training future teachers for preschoolers’ health-saving competence formation by means of game activity, which includes three interrelated units (target, content-organizational, final-diagnostic), is developed and theoretically substantiated. The pedagogical conditions of realization of the defined model are determined: purposeful motivation of future teachers for preschoolers’ health-saving competence formation by means of game activity; mastering of health-saving knowledge and skills by future teachers of preschool education institutions; professional-personal self-improvement of future teachers in order to form health-saving competence of preschoolers by means of game activity; creativity in the use of game activity means by future teachers in practical professional activity while forming preschoolers’ health-saving competence. The curriculum and scientific-methodological provision of professional training of future teachers for preschoolers’ health-saving competence formation by means of game activity, which includes teaching-methodological complex of the special course “Formation of preschoolers’ health-saving competence by means of game activity” and teaching manual “Game activity in the aspect of formation of preschoolers’ health-saving competence” for use in the process of training future teachers of preschool education institutions at the academic level “Bachelor” and during students’ educational and industrial practice is improved. The effectiveness of the model of training future teachers for preschoolers’ health-saving competence formation by means of game activity and pedagogical conditions of its implementation has been experimentally tested.
