Essay

Object – optimism of the identity of the student; purpose – to reveal specifics of manifestation of optimism in cognitive, emotional and strong-willed, motivational and behavioral components of self-control of educational professional activity of students; methods – theoretical (systematization and generalization), empirical (observation, conversation, testing, the forming experiment), mathematic-statistical methods of data processing; novelty – features of manifestation of optimism as resource base of mental self-control of educational professional activity of successful and unsuccessful students are revealed for the first time; it is for the first time established that optimism in structure of self-control of educational professional activity of students provides more expressed availability of intellectual, emotional and strong-willed and motivational resources and also updating of ability to any and rational organization of educational actions; manifestation of optimism in the system of psychological predictors of mental self-control of educational professional activity of students with different success is revealed for the first time; comparative deposits of two levels of optimism (strategic and operational-tactical) of functioning of cognitive, emotional and strong-willed, behavioral and motivational mechanisms of self-control of the training of students taking into account the level of their success are specified; ideas of optimism strategic (personal) and operational-tactical (subject) levels at student's age are expanded; ideas of cognitive, emotional and strong-willed, motivational and behavioral components of a system of mental self-control of educational professional activity of students are expanded; means of psychological maintenance of development of self-control of educational professional activity of students by method of a social and psychological training taking into account development of optimism are gained further development; results – the psychological essence of influence of optimism on functioning of cognitive, emotional and strong-willed, behavioral and motivational mechanisms of self-control of educational activity of students is disclosed; the specifics of strategic and operational and tactical optimism as predictors of self-control of educational activity of students are experimentally shown; cognitive, emotional and strong-willed, motivational and behavioral components of a system of mental self-control of educational professional activity of students are defined and specified; the program of psychological maintenance of development of self-control of educational professional activity of students by method of a social and psychological training taking into account development of optimism is developed and approved. Basic provisions of work and the received results can be used during vocational training and increase in professional level of practical psychologists when teaching training courses "Age psychology" "Pedagogical psychology", "Psychodiagnostics", "The general psychology", "Psychological consultation". Results of a dissertation research are introduced in educational process of institutions of the higher education of Ukraine; area – psychology.
