The dissertation is devoted to the theoretical and experimental investigations of the manufacturing process for producing turning bushes of the advanced quality according to such criteria: accuracy of the internal cylinder surface (ICS) shape due to the deflection parameter from the EFK rounding; decrease of the surface roughness, caused by its vibration rolling by the ball, increasing its micro-hardness and the level of strengthening. Basing on the review and analysis of the available manufacturing processes for producing turning bushes and technological equipment, some shortcomings and unknown problems have been revealed, basing on which the areas of investigations for obtaining the goal have been determined. The values of springing while shaping of turning bushes in the semi-cylinder matrix have been investigated theoretically, as well as their movement in the transporting channel. Their application will make it possible to correct the profiles of deforming elements (punches) of the technological equipment, which will contribute to the increase of the shape precision. The probability-statistic method and the harmony analysis, basing on the trigonometric Fourier’s series, have been used to estimate the deflections at the ICS rounding of turning bushed, formed at different values of the transporting channel curvature. It was determined, that the proposed manufacturing process after the bush being turned, provides sufficient decrease of curvature deflection, as compared with that, being formed during the conventional manufacturing process, in 2,4-5,6 times.
