Keretsman A. Medico-social assessment of demographic losses caused by diseases of the digestive system and substantiation of functional and organizational model of their minimization

The dissertation is devoted to the decision of an important scientific and practical task of health care - a scientific substantiation of the functional and organizational model of reduction of premature mortality of the population due to diseases of the digestive system at the regional level. During the implementation of the comprehensive medical and social research, the high level of number of the lost years of potential life due to diseases of the digestive system (DDS) was established at a low level of prevention of premature mortality of the population from these pathologies and lack of comprehensive scientific developments, which allowed to substantiate the functional and organizational model of reduction premature mortality of the population due to diseases of the digestive system. The effective implementation of the proposed model has developed a logical - structural scheme for its implementation, which reflects the main tasks and directions of inter -sectoral interaction in order to reduce premature mortality. The functional and organizational model for reducing the premature mortality of the population as a result of the DDS at the regional level is based on fundamentally new approaches to the provision of medical care in the prevention of premature mortality due to DDS using a multilevel, cross-sectoral approach that is consistent with the healthcare reforming strategy and ensures unity of action at all levels of management, cross-sectoral approach to preventing morbidity and mortality due to DDS, continuity and succession of events of prophylaxis at all stages (primary, secondary, tertiary) and levels of implementation complexity and systematic, effective monitoring of the epidemiological situation regarding in the region. The substantiated functional - organizational model is positively evaluated by experts and solves the actual scientific task of reducing premature mortality of the population as a result of DDS at the regional level.
