The object of the research is the journalistic segment of the Internet space of Russia as a factor in the information war against Ukraine. The goal of the research is to outline the concept of “information war” in the context of studying the organizational and legislative framework for the functioning of the Russian Internet resources and content analysis of publications on Internet resources “Pravda.Ru“ and “Russian Dialogue“. Theoretical relevance of the thesis research. According to Pafnutii Chebyshev, “who assumed that the theory without practice is dead and infertile“, we will consider: the theoretical significance of the thesis research depends more on the summing up of some utilitarian characteristics of the analyzed content. The study of the impact of portals content on the perception of reality by the audience allows you to make serious theoretical conclusions. The theoretical significance of this thesis research is to improve the social and communication aspects of the concept of “information war“ through the prism of engaging for its implementation of Russian Internet resources and in analyzing the significance of the information war in the hybrid war against Russia. The practical significance of the obtained results is that the collected materials, their analysis and theoretical generalization can be used to improve journalistic activity in the conditions of information aggression, in the development of lecture courses and practical classes for students of the specialty 061 Journalism in the field of knowledge 06 Journalism, in the publication of textbooks, tutorials, methodological recommendations on information security, information legislation, etc.
