Essay

The Dissertation is devoted to the problem of formation of sociocultural competence of elementary school future teachers in the process of professional training. The pedagogical conditions for forming the sociocultural competence of future elementary school teachers in the process of professional training (phased supplementation of the curriculum by separate subjects and educational disciplines (variational component) of the cycle of professional and practical training of students are revealed and theoretically substantiated; implementation of interactive teaching methods taking into account the context of the professional activity of the elementary school teacher; educational environment (traditions, norms, rules of conduct, social situation); provision of the attitude of motives and values towards the identification and manifestation of socio-cultural competence in the process of professional training and the model of its implementation, containing the following components: purpose, tasks, approaches, principles, forms, methods, stages of formation, criteria, indicators, levels of formation of sociocultural competence of elementary school future teachers. It is determined that the structure of sociocultural competence of future primary school teachers is cognitive, motivational, reflexive and communicative components. The formation of sociocultural competence of future primary school teachers is determined by high, medium and low levels according to certain indicators. In the process of experimental research the efficiency of the developed organizational and pedagogical model of formation of socio-cultural competence of elementary school future teachers in the process of professional training has been proved
