Essay

Object – students’ attitude to studying; objective – to determine psychological peculiarities of attitude to studying of the students with low academic motivation and psychological conditions of its optimization; methods – theoretical (analysis, synthesis, comparison, systematization, generalization), empirical (experimental and psycho-diagnostic methods of emotional and motivational sphere of students’ personality), mathematic and statistical data processing; novelty – firstly determined specificity of manifestation of emotional attitude to studying of the students with different levels of academic motivation, identified conative peculiarities of the students with different studying motivation levels in higher education institutions, studied interrelations of studying motives showings and basic needs realization by students in studying in higher education institutions; extended idea of: peculiarities of studying motivation of HEI students, emotional attitude of studying as a factor of formation of studying motivation mature forms of HEI students, means of psychological provision of optimization of students’ emotional attitude to studying and formation of academic motivation mature forms; further development of diagnostic means of satisfaction of basic needs of students during studying activity, system of psychological knowledge about students’ motivational sphere peculiarities by means of revelation of psychological factors of low academic motivation; results – developed and tested in work methodology of diagnostics of students’ basic needs satisfaction in studying activity, intervention and developing program of optimization of emotional attitude to studying and formation of studying motivation mature forms may be used in practice of psychological service and HEI educational process; field – psychology
