The object of the research - is the process of the formation of the key competences in management of tourist activity for future specialists in physical education; the subject of the research - can be inferred from the pedagogical conditions that ensure the effectiveness of the formation of key competences in management of tourist activity for future specialists in physical education; the purpose of the research - is to substantiate and experimentally test the pedagogical conditions that contribute to the formation of key competences in management of tourist activities for the future specialists in physical education; the methods of the research - theoretical, empirical and method of mathematical statistics; the scientific novelty obtained from the research results: for the first time the pedagogical conditions that contribute to the formation of key competences in management of tourist activity for future specialists in physical education have been defined and theoretically substantiated; the pedagogical essence of the "competent approach" as the leading means of scientific and pedagogical conceptualization of the problem of research has been elucidated; the content of structural components (motivational-value, cognitive-perceptive, managerial-tourist, regulative-activity) of key competences in management of tourism activity of future specialists of physical culture as well as criteria (motivational, cognitive, managerial, operational), indicators are specified (interest, awareness, independence, personality-professional self-forecasting) and the levels (high, average, low) of their formation levels have been scientifically substantiated; the concepts of "competence", "key competences", "key competences in management of tourist activity for future specialists in physical education", "competence approach" have been defined; the concept of "the formation of key competences in management of tourist activity for future specialists in physical education" has been introduced; the problem of the formation of key competences in management of tourist activity for future specialists in physical education as a component of their professional competence has been further developed.
