The study is devoted to the study of the effects of blood serum of animals, obtained in the conditions of the previous modeling of the state of stimulation and suppression of erythropoiesis on changes in the level of serum iron in the reference group of animals. In the work on experimental models of hypoxic hypoxia, introduction of the solution of Epobiocrin, hemolytic anemia and posttransfusion of polycythemia, it is proved that the blood serum obtained in conditions of stimulation of erythropoiesis increases the serum iron content and does not affect the erythropoiesis itself. It has been established that the administration of blood serum of animals with stimulated erythropoiesis results in an increase in serum iron, regardless of the body's needs in iron. It was found that the introduction of blood serum of erythropoietin-stimulated animals causes an increase in iron levels with a maximum increase at the 3 day and a subsequent gradual decrease to the limits of the physiological norm at the 7 day without additional correction. The obtained results indicate that among the substances that raise the level of iron in serum obtained in conditions of increased erythropoiesis, the non-protein nature of the factor acts.
