Duka O. Development of professional competence of the personnel of the probation at the departmental educational institutions of the State Criminal-Executive Service of Ukraine.

The organizational and legal aspects of the activity of probation in Ukraine are defined, the concept and content of probation of Ukraine, its personnel, the main functions that should be realized by personnel of the probation body of Ukraine. The international experience of organization of activity and professional training of personnel of the probation body is analyzed. The basis of professional competence of the personnel of the probation body of Ukraine is defined. Proceeding from the tasks and functions of probation, the components of the professional competence of the personnel of the probation body are singled out. The criteria for evaluating these components are analyzed and determined, and the scale of levels of each criterion of professional competence of the probation officer is formulated: reproductive (low), reconstructive (average); creative (high) A model for developing the professional competence of the personnel of the probation was created and its effectiveness in practice was substantiated.
