Lobas M. Medical and social justification for optimized functional-and-organizational model of medical care for the rural population of Ukraine.

The thesis is devoted to the solution of important scientific-and-practical tasks of health care - the scientific justification of the functionally optimized model of medical care for the rural population of Ukraine. Comprehensive optimized functional-and-organizational model of medical care to the rural population at the regional level was justified and developed on the base of the results of the study with the rural population being its central element. The model includes the functions and activities of the regional and local authorities, united local communities and the health care system, aimed at structural reform of the system, staffing, maintenance and continuous improvement of professional level of medical personnel, the establishment of a unified information system of health care and forming at the population of responsible attitude to personal health.
