Formation of preparedness for the implementation of competences in pharmacoeconomics provides a comprehensive readiness for future professional activity of pharmacists, namely: effective support of patients on the principles of social pharmacy and pharmaceutical care. The introduction of a pharmacoeconomic training course for a comprehensive pharmacoeconomic analysis, from the stage of development and introduction into the production of new drugs on the basis of a pharmacoeconomic justification of the benefits of therapeutic efficacy, safety of the use of drugs and availability to patients. The concept, methodical approaches and principles of designing and developing the methodology of pharmacoeconomics training in the process of preparing future pharmacists in higher medical educational institutions based on the principles of economic education, economic theories, formation of professional competence of the person and its professional activity, professional development and self-development are substantiated; determined by the levels of readiness for future professional activity and realization of professional competences of the pharmacoeconomic analysis of the effectiveness of the pharmaceutical enterprises, implementation of project management and good practices for increasing the efficiency of pharmaceutical activity, pharmacoeconomic substantiation of the feasibility of pharmacotherapeutic support of patients, pharmaceutical care using the results of systematic studies of evidence-based medicine and evidence-based pharmacy, on the basis of the complex zas osuvannya humane, systematic, competence, activity, person-oriented, pharmacoeconomic and integrated approaches. In the course of the pilot study, the effectiveness of the developed methodology for the study of pharmacoeconomics in the process of preparing future pharmacists in higher education institutions was implemented and tested. Comprehensive diagnosis of the level of professional readiness of students for the implementation of professional competences in pharmacoeconomics, based on the results of the molding experiment, allowed to establish reliable differences in qualitative professional features in experimental groups, positive dynamics of initial achievements of students EG 1 (auditorium form of training) - 82.89 % (p < 0.05), EG 1 (distance learning form) - 77.87 % (p < 0.05). The statistical analysis and processing of experimental data confirms the validity of the hypothesis of the study and the effectiveness of the implementation of the methodology of pharmacoeconomic education in the process of preparing future pharmacists in medical institutions of higher education.
