Labenko O. Concept DISEASE in Ukrainian, English and French: Ethnolinguistic and Linguоpragmatic Aspects

The thesis is devoted to the study of the concept DISEASE from ethnolinguistics and linguopragmatics perspectives in Ukrainian, English and French. The main goal of the thesis is to identify linguistic means of implementation of the concept DESEASE as a part of Ukrainian, English and French folk picture of the world, in description and in-depth reconstruction of it contents in the national consciousness with the help of complex linguistic analysis. To reach the established objectives in the place of the concept DISEASE in the general and folk linguistic pictures of the world was established; the peculiarities of its structure and verbalization and phraseological nominations in Ukrainian, English and French were singled out; the description of the adjective and verbal compatibility of the nominations DISEASE was carried out.
