Liakhova N. Medico-social substantiation of an optimized model for the provision of orthodontic care to the children's population at the regional level.

The dissertation is devoted to one of the important scientific and practical tasks of modern health care - the medical and social substantiation of the model for the provision of orthodontic care to the children's population at the regional level. The dissertation presents the results of a comprehensive medical and social study of the prevalence of orthodontic pathology, risk factors for its development and the state of dental orthodontic care for children. During the study, methods for predicting the risk of orthodontic pathology in children and adolescents, a model of the main components and prognostic models for detecting orthodontic pathology, prevention and motivation of parents to orthodontic treatment of their children were developed. According to the data obtained, the model for the provision of orthodontic care to the children's population at the regional level, which consists of subjects, the management object, the unit of regulatory and legal regulation and resource support, was substantiated and developed, and includes the main directions for solving the problem. The purpose, tasks, principles of the proposed model, directions of main strategies and comprehensive measures to optimize the provision of orthodontic care to the children's population at the regional level are determined. The proposed model was evaluated by experts at the appropriate level. The individual components of the model were introduced into the practice of health care, which would improve the quality of orthodontic care and improve dental health indicators of the children.
