The dissertation presents the results of the study of the formation of vocal and speech culture of future music teachers in the process of professional preparation. The process of formation of vocal and speech culture takes place during the course of vocal training, which accompany all stages of work on vocal work. The phenomenon of vocal and speech culture from the point of view of physiology, psychology, pedagogy, music pedagogy is proved, which proves its universal interdisciplinary potential and determines the paradigmatic concept of research. Formation of vocal and speech culture is presented as an attribute of pedagogical, methodical, vocal-performing and vocal-speaking perfection of specialists. Meanwhile, it is shown that at the stage of integration of the national higher education system into the European educational space the problem of forming the culture of future music teachers in higher pedagogical school makes special sense. It is theoretically substantiated and shown that the vocal and speech culture of future music teachers, means the personality-significant quality of a specialist, characterized by an alloy of acquired and improved individual-personal and professional qualities in the aspect of vocal and technological achievements and are unified music as a carrier and repeater of artistic values. The structural components of the vocal and speech culture of future music teachers are justified, the basic principles, criteria and indicators in assessing the formation of the vocal and speech culture of future music teachers are determined. A technique for the formation of vocal and speech culture of future music teachers has been developed. Pedagogical conditions and a model for the formation of vocal and speech culture of future music teachers in the process of training have been developed. The effectiveness of the proposed methodology for the formation of vocal and speech culture of future music teachers in the process of training has been experimentally verified.
