It is determined that the present, the past and the future of the person's life span are interconnected through the mechanism of interpretation of their own life experience and awareness and construction of their own life perspectives. The structural-functional model of the interpretation of life experience, consisting of four components: meaningful, emotional-experiencing, semantic and pragmatic-practical, was developed. It is determined that the mechanisms of influence of life experience on the processes of forecasting, designing and programming of the future depend on the subjective way of interpreting own experience and the present situation of the individual. Four types of interpretation of experience in terms of solving the problems of personality's perspective such as ignoring of experience, idealization of experience, jamming in experience and reflexive-analytical type of interpretation of experience have been identified. It has been empirically proved that the interpretation of life experience with the help of the reflexive-analytic type is the most positive and one that gives the person the opportunity to develop and master the subject's position as for own life. The technology of psychological assistance to the person's formation of a positive, realistic, differentiated and personal perspective of own life through the appealing to life experience for representatives of each type of experience interpretation is developed and tested.
