Thesis for achieving the scientific grade of the candidate of pedagogical sciences (PhD) for speciality 13.00.04 – theory and methodology of professional education. – State Higher Educational Institution «University of Educational Management» National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, Kyiv, 2019. The research is dedicated to the problem of development of digital competence of the teachers in elementary school in the conditions of the project-based activity. The thesis analyzes the status of research of this problem in the scientific sources; major definitions on the research are specified. The thesis for the first time defines and theoretically grounds the conditions for developing digital competence of teachers in elementary school in the conditions of project-based activity that include: improvement of the educational content for teachers in elementary school in the formal education; development and implementation of the management decisions in the non-formal education; creation of the educational and methodological resources and acquiring of practical experience in the field of developing the digital competence of the teachers in elementary school in formal, non-formal and informal education on the basis of implementing the project activity an online education; teachers’ participation in the innovational educational projects; pedagogical support of teachers in the professional network communities in informal education. The thesis develops, substantiates and experimentally checks the technology of developing of digital competence of a teacher in elementary school on the basis of project activity in the system of postgraduate education that implies the usage of educational resources of different level; differentiation and integration of content, forms and methods of the development of digital competence of teachers in accordance to its multi-level structure through the development of different variants of multi-level modules of educational programs. The technology of the developing the digital competence of teachers in elementary school is viewed as a component in the system of professional development of teachers in elementary school which grounds on the process of constructing and implementing the projects by means of digital technologies. The suggested technology is made of inter-determined and inter-connected structural elements: methodological approaches, theoretical grounds, content and process-based grounds, monitoring of results.
