Essay

The thesis deals with the problem of the formation of future biotechnologists’ humanistic orientation in the process of professional training at higher agricultural educational establishments. There is substantiated the necessity for forming humanistic orientation as an integral part of professional activity of the future biotechnologists in agricultural sector. There is also specified the concept of «humanistic orientation of the future of biotechnologists». Based on analysis of the literature the content criteria, components, levels of formation of humanistic orientation have been specified. The thesis highlights the issues of pedagogical conditions for forming humanistic orientation of future biotechnologists in the process of professional training: designing a purposeful humanistic educational environment in the training of future biotechnologists; provision of a humanistic component in the content of educational disciplines for the training of future biotechnologists; application of interactive forms and methods in the educational process for activating humanistic educational and cognitive activity of future biotechnologists. There is developed the model of forming future biotechnologists’ humanistic orientation, represented by unity of following blocks: target and methodological, content and operational, diagnostic and effective. There is experimentally proved effectiveness of realization of pedagogical conditions of formation of future biotechnologists’ humanistic orientation. In thesis there are also presented recommendations for enhancing future biotechnologists’ humanistic orientation formation.
