Essay

In thesis at first time it is substantiated the basic periods of the development of the pedagogical education of the Republic of Poland on the path to European integration: 1980 – 1991 – preparation for the association with the European Union; 1991 – 2004 – associate membership in the European Union; 2004 – 2017 – membership in the European Union; characterized the development of pedagogical education in the Republic of Poland in each distinct period; the legislative and organizational changes in the development of the pedagogical education of the Republic of Poland in accordance with the requirements of the European educational space in each particular period are singled out and analyzed; determined the perspective directions of implementation of Polish experience regarding legislative and organizational changes (changes related to the functioning of the pedagogical education system, the restructuring of the network of higher education institutions, the concepts of teacher training) in pedagogical education of Ukraine, in particular, at the legislative level: creation of mechanisms for harmonization of the legislation of Ukraine in the sphere of education with the legislation of the European Union; developing a sectoral framework of qualifications and new standards for pedagogical education in accordance with the requirements of the European Higher Education Area; at the organizational level: modernization of the content and methodology of creation of educational programs based on competent approach; improvement of the content of training, retraining and professional development of pedagogical workers; the diversification of teaching languages in higher establishments of pedagogical education; creation of conditions for the quality of pedagogical education in accordance with European standards and recommendations; carried out a comparative analysis of the concept of «pedagogical education» in Polish and Ukrainian scientific space; specified the theoretical essence of the concept «European integration processes» which means a set of socio-economic, cultural and educational processes aimed at uniting different countries into a single union in order to meet common interests in further economic, cultural and spiritual development, and the concept «the development of pedagogical education in the context of European integration processes» which is understood as the progress in the field of pedagogical education in accordance with the requirements of the European Higher Education Area; improved comparative research methodology for teacher training; further development acquired scientific provisions on the development of pedagogical education in Ukraine in the context of European integration processes.
