Zhyvko M. New economy in the potential development of European civilization-integration processes

The object of research is the processes of formation and development of a new economy. The aim is theoretical and methodological substantiation of the influence of the new economy on the development of the potential of European civilization-integration processes and development of the directions of its formation in Ukraine in the context of Ukraine's European integration aspirations. The methods of scientific abstraction; of a general science: induction and deduction; generalization; system analysis and synthesis; statistical and economic and mathematical correlation-regression analysis, index methology and Spierman rank correlation coefficient; systematization; analogy; generalization. The novelty of research are to substantiate the theoretical and methodological principles of the new economy, to identify its main laws and technological guidelines in the development of the European potential and to develop proposals for strategic vectors for the transformation of the functional model of a new economy in Ukraine. The novelty is to substantiate the conceptual foundations of the study of a new economy, to identify its objectively existing causal relationships and trends in technological development in the European civilization-integration aspect, and to outline the strategic vectors for transforming the functional model of a new economy into the development of the country’s potential. The author’s approach to the new economy in the European civilization-integration processes is substantiated by formulating the basic provisions of its functional model. The concept-categorical apparatus of the study, in particular the interpretation of the concept of a “new economy”, as a synergy of knowledge and information, research and development work, the link between universities and production, innovation and modernization, which ensure the growth of the potential of integration processes in accordance with the cross-cultural features of European civilization, based on which sustainable economic development. Theoretical and methodical approaches to the concept of “civilization” have been improved, and the characteristic features of the new economy in the context of the European civilization processes are determined. The strategic vectors of transformation of the model of a new economy in Ukraine are determined on the basis of the analysis of the influence of socio-cultural factors and the trends of socio-economic processes and behavioral attitudes of people are identified; taking into account the objective difficulties associated with the formation of the European civilization innovation system. The findings of the research were implemented into practical activity of International Cooperation and Fundraising Department of Ternopil Regional State Administration, LLC “Scientific Production Enterprise “Agromashinvest”, LLC “Rada Capital”, Ternopil City Council’s Strategic Development Office, and Ternopil National Economic University. Their area of application is the respective activity of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukrainе, Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on issues of the European integration.
