Thesis for a Candidate degree in Art Criticism, speciality 26.00.01 “Theory and History of Culture”. – Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts, Ministry of Culture of Ukraine, Kyiv, 2019. The thesis contains a comprehensive analysis of female images in the Ukrainian ballet, features aspects K. Dankevych - H. Berezova ballet “Lileia” influence on the further embodiment of female images in Ukrainian ballets, as well as ballet master interpretations of female images in Ukrainian ballet performances 50–80s the XXts century, outlines the essence of updating approaches to the interpretation of female images of the late XX – early XXIts century. It is noted that choreography and performance interpretations of female images in the Ukrainian ballet of the 30's of the XXts century – beginning of the XXIts century. They made general trends in the development of the ballet theater of Ukraine distinquished from domestic dramas (“Pan Kanovskyi”), the tops of choreography (“Lileia”), through the symphonization of classical dance (“Forest song”), to large-scale director-choreographer's decisions on the historical theme (“Olha”), genre and lexical “mixtiness” in modern comedy ballets (“For Two Hares”).
