Essay

Object – features of pathogenesis and treatment of gastroesophageal rupture-hemorrhagic syndrome; goal – to improve the results of treatment of patients with Mallory-Weiss syndrome, by clarifying the etiology, pathogenesis of the disease and justifying treatment tactics; methods – experimental, clinical, laboratory, X-ray, endoscopic, ultrasonographic, histological, mathematical and statistical; results new data were obtained regarding factors affecting the severity of blood loss: the presence of chronic hepatitis, hernia of the esophageal orifice, gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer, the degree of activity of bleeding Forrest; results – a new scientific position reveals the causal relationship of Mallory-Weiss syndrome and background diseases: chronic hepatitis, hernia of the esophageal opening of the diaphragm or cardia failure; for the first time, factors that have a significant effect on the occurrence of recurrent bleeding were established and a mathematical model was developed for predicting the risk of bleeding recurrence; expanded understanding of the pathological changes of the esophagocardial junction and liver in Mallory-Weiss syndrome; improved methods of conservative hemostatic treatment of patients with Mallory-Weiss syndrome, respectively, the etiology and pathogenesis of the disease; the algorithm of treatment and diagnostic tactics of patients with Mallory-Weiss syndrome was improved taking into account mathematical modeling of the prediction of risk of bleeding recurrence; branch – medicine.
