Zhelay O. Development of the domestic library electronic service

In the dissertation the experience of functioning of the library electronic service is comprehensively investigated and generalized. The specificity of the formation of a conceptual apparatus of the subject under study is explored, specified. The basic methodical approaches to the study of the problem of the functioning of the electronic library service are determined. The experience of using electronic service in the activities of the leading libraries of the world and Ukraine is generalized and analyzed; development of up-to-date and perspective electronic forms of library services, which help increase the level of provision of public information requests. The methodical principles of informational, informational and analytical support of state authorities and other target groups of library users are determined. The optimal model of library information-analytical support is developed and substantiated on the basis of wide application of electronic forms of monitoring, processing, formation of thematic digital collections, production of informational-analytical library products, operative address information-analytical support of its customers. The model has been tested in the process of informational and analytical support of users of V. I. Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine, in particular, central and regional authorities and local self-government.
