Essay

Thesis presents characteristics of robbery from the standpoint of legal psychology, analysis of the abovementioned crime’s determinant system, and its psychological nature, justification of proposals related to use of special psychological knowledge in the course of robbery investigation. It is identified that robbery as a socially dangerous act and criminal phenomenon is essential element of civilization development process and originates in our early history. Many historical sources define this phenomenon in different ways depending on the content of certain homogenous criminal authorities, similar to robbery (e.g. theft).
