Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the grounding, development and evaluation of the effectiveness of the innovative program with the priority use of means of skating on roller skates with students of 5-6 grades to improve their morphofunctional state, physical fitness and health. The innovative program «Roller Skates: an Innovative Vector of Physical Education» was developed on the basis of the results of the recorded experiment. The structural model of the proposed program contains the following elements: purpose, tasks, principles, stages, performance criteria. The purpose of the developed program of extracurricular physical education and improving classes is to improve physical health and improve the level of physical fitness of students of 5-6 grades. In accordance with the set goal, the main tasks of physical education and recreation classes with elements of skating on roller skates were solved: they are health improvement, educational, pedagogical. Programming of physical education and health training was carried out according to the following principles: social-pedagogical, special and didactic. Organizational and methodical conditions for the implementation of the program «Roller skates: an innovative vector of physical education» included development of the content of physical education and recreational activities; development of methods of development of physical abilities of younger teens by means of roller skating; definition of means and methods of training for roller skating elements; resistance to the didactic and specific principles of training motor activity and development of physical abilities of 10-12 years old children; taking into account the regularities of physical and mental development of younger teens. The criteria for the effectiveness of the developed innovation program were improvements the level of somatic health, physical fitness and morphofunctional status. The content of the proposed program was both traditional exercise for the development of physical qualities and elements of skating on roller skates (exercises for training techniques of basic movements on roller skates, slalom, skating, moving games on roller skates, skating for long distances) that were used depending on the stages of the program implementation. The general structure of the annual cycle of extra-curricular physical education and recreation classes with the use of roller skating equipment for children aged 10-12 with one macro cycle, consisting of three stages - preparatory, basic, supporting, each of them has its tasks and content, was developed. Distribution of program material in the annual cycle of out-of-school physical education and recreational activities roller skates. In addition, a variation module «Roller skates» of the school curriculum for physical education for elementary school students was developed, which includes content of the training material, expected results of educational and cognitive activity of students, indicative training materials, equipment list. The experiment involved 194 10-12 years old children, of them 92 boys and 102 girls. The research was conducted on the basis of a specialized school № 269 in Kyiv with an in-depth study of the French language. Control and experimental groups were created in each age group. The control groups included 92, and experimental - 102 students. In the course of the study, tests were conducted to determine the morphofunctional state, physical fitness and health status of pupils of control and experimental groups at the beginning of the experiment, and at the end (in September 2017 - the initial indicators were fixed; in May 2018 - indicators were recorded after 9 months of roller skating practice). The obtained research results confirm the effectiveness of the developed innovative program "Roller skates: an innovative vector of physical education". This is due to the fact that the implementation of the program had a direct positive effect on the morphofunctional state, the level of physical fitness and the state of health of students of 5-6 grade, as well as - the formation of a stable motivation of students to attend extra-curricular physical education and recreation classes. This is proved by the fact that the number of children who regularly attend extra-curricular physical education classes during the academic year in the experimental groups practically did not change (only one child was transferred to another school), and in the control groups, where the content of the classes included variable module «Basketball» the number of children by the end of the year decreased by 11,9% (12 children out of 92). Thus, the results of the study indicate the expediency of developing and implementing the proposed program in the system of extra-curricular physical education and wellness activities.
