Essay

The object of research – the training of future specialists in graphic design. The subject of the research – the pedagogical conditions for the development of project culture of future graphic designers in vocational training in art institutions of higher education. In the dissertation the pedagogical conditions of development of the project culture of future designers-graphic artists (individualization and differentiation of professional training of design specialists, stimulation of professional interest in the implementation of project activities, implementation of mechanisms of pedagogical reflection, development and introduction of the author’s integrative teaching-methodical complex) are determined and experimentally tested. The conceptual basis for providing the pedagogical conditions for the development of the project culture of future graphic designers is the culturological, personal-oriented, competency, systemic, acmeological and activity approaches. The model of development of the project culture of future graphic designers is presented, which visualizes the integrity of the goal, tasks, approaches, principles, structure, stages, organizational forms, methods, means, pedagogical conditions, criteria, indicators and levels of development of the project culture, structured in the target, theoretical-methodological, technological, evaluation-result blocks; performs illustrative, explanatory functions and enables to identify possible ways and means of improving the quality of design education. The technology of stage-by-stage development of project culture combining three stages (propaedeutic, preparatory, professional identification, creative self-realization in the project activity) and actualizes the development of artistic and aesthetic qualities, associative-figurative thinking, promotes deepening of theoretical knowledge, improvement of practical abilities in creating integral harmonic images, perspective image projects, forecasting trends in the formation of graphic design.
