The dissertation presents the results of theoretical generalization and solution of the problem of formation of professional competence of future agents of commercial activity in agroeconomic colleges, which allowed to substantiate the model of the provision of this process, to determine and experimentally verify the corresponding pedagogical conditions. The relevance of the topic is proved, the state of its development in the scientific literature is analyzed. The essence of the concepts is specified: "professional competence of future agents of commercial activity", "the formation of professional competence of future agents of commercial activity in agroeconomic colleges".
The criteria of the formation professional competence of future agents of commercial activity in agroeconomic colleges and their indicators are specified: motivational-value (availability of relevant motives, needs, understanding of the significance of commercial activity for themselves and society, professional expectations from commercial activity, position towards oneself (recognition a businessman), the desire for self-development and self-improvement as a future professional, etc., a system of values, value orientations (responsible to consumers and partners a sense of duty, patriotism) which is formed on the basis of ability of business); cognitive-competence (professional knowledge completeness, depth, durability, systematization); independent solution of professional tasks and the creative use of the experience of others; awareness of their capabilities in the professional and personal spheres, the formation of components of professional competence (special, educational, cognitive, informatics, technological, communicative, personal); person-activity (formation of general-professional (to define strategic goals of activity and to organize their realization, to analyze and its effectiveness, etc.), special (use knowledge of the mechanisms of cognitive processes in commercial activities (for example, to increase the effectiveness of advertising); apply business communication skills; find optimal behavior strategies in conflict situations; allocate in the activities of the businessman the main management functions (planning, organization, motivation and control) skills and personal qualities (diligence, organization, perseverance, determination, courage, communicability, responsibility, purposefulness, vigor, persistence, diligence, ability and readiness for risk, etc.). Based on certain criteria and indicators, the levels of formation of professional competence of future agents of commercial activity in agroeconomic colleges are characterized: high, medium and low.
Diagnostics of the professional competence of future agents of commercial activity in agroeconomic colleges was carried out, which included an analysis of its condition and a confirmatory experiment, the results of which demonstrated the prevalence of low level of formation of professional competence and the absence of a difference between the levels of formation of criteria of professional competence of future agents of commercial activity. The reasons for this are: the students' unpreparedness to acquire a system of socio-cultural values, in particular to the values of the future specialty, lack of practical orientation of professional knowledge, skills, skills of the agent of commercial activity, negative impact of the social environment, which calls for the rapid resolution of all situations that require exclusion , tolerance, long-suffering.
