Essay

The thesis elaborates on the methodology for studying of the art-business in the global economy, systematizes the conditions, factors and mechanisms for regulating creative business activities in the EU. Author developed amultistructural model of regulation of the EU cultural and creative industries, which is a hierarchical complex of institutional and instrumental harmonization of the EU development strategies, the existing legal base of intellectual activity of authors, artists, performers, introduction of special sectoral instruments, as well as a set of complementary regional and local measures. The genesis of the development of the artistic business industry in the leading countries has been uncovered. The criteria for defining the evolutionary stages of art-business and models of creative entrepreneurship have been developed based on the principles of historicism, increasing technological sophistication of creative sphere, sectoral diversification and globalization of markets. Author provided a comparative research of the convergent processes of the art-markets of Ukraine, Poland and the EU. Directions for improving the institutional and regulatory framework of the European development vector of the Ukrainian art market have been identified.
