In the dissertation M. V. Lysenkoʼs world view and artistic content of the ideological heritage is singled out and studied in the light of archival and museum sources and museum practice in the present time. The composer’s creative views are characterized like as such, which are inseparably united with its direct activities in this area. In this phenomenon is expressed the concept of "inculturation". The essence of the term "inculturation" is defined in its narrow (as a person's entry into the culture) and broad sense (as an introduction to the culture of certain ideas). The creative potential of M. V. Lysenkoʼs art-enlightening ideas, its role in the process of developing the culture of Ukraine in the independence period is detected. The significance of musical semiotic space created by M. Lysenko as a result of his diverse creative activities is reveals. Revealed a special system of signs within this space the components of which were Ukrainian music and language and the poetry of T. Shevchenko in music. A deep ideological content and influence of M. Lysenkoʼs sign system on the formation of national consciousness of the Ukrainian people and its culture is established. A classification of the forms of presentation and inculturation of the M. Lysenkoʼs creative traditions in Ukraine in the late twentieth and early twenty-first centuries is being developed. Identified ways to popularize the composerʼs art-enlightening views and numerous amount art centers, in which embodies this popularization. The relevance of M. Lysenkoʼs art-enlightening ideas and its inculturation in the spiritual space of modern Ukraine is proven. The importance of the meaning of these ideas for the development of national consciousness and Ukrainian culture today and in the future is confirmed.
