Essay

The thesis is focused on the research of the processes of modification of the strategies and business models of the transnational building corporations in the current conditions of the global challenges. The intrinsic features are brought to light, the economic, social, infrastructural, civilizational and cultural functions are determined and the peculiarities of the building as branch of the material production and business sphere are defined, as well as the building industry’s macroeconomic positioning in the modern market system is carried out. The integrative role of the building industry in the economic growth is shown, the influence of the geo-economics factors on its development is highlighted. The manifestations and specifics of the technology industry of the building industry in the paradigm of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 are analyzed. The motivations, forms, organizational peculiarities and levels of the building companies’ internationalization are analyzed, the specificity of the international management in the construction business is shown. The institutional, regulatory and organizational peculiarities of the European construction business are investigated. The prerequisites of the formation, the features and functions of the global market of the building services are revealed. The innovative strategies of the Transnational building corporations in the landscape of the global business integration are defined. The potential of the Ukrainian construction industry is revealed and the trends of its integration into the European convergent and standardized market of construction services.
