The dissertation deals with the problem of training of the future officers of the Ukrainian maritime trade fleet for work in extreme situations. The analysis of psychological-pedagogical, special literature, normative legal documents, educational-methodological support made it possible to state the expediency and relevance of the research of training of the future officers of the Ukrainian maritime trade fleet for work in extreme situations. Scientists pay attention in their researches to the problem of work of specialists in extreme situations, develop ways and technologies for training specialists of different profile in such situations.
The essence, structure and peculiarities of such training have been revealed. The components have been determined, criteria, indicators and levels of readiness have been worked out; pedagogical conditions have been singled out and grounded (formation of psychological readiness of the future officers of the maritime trade fleet for work in extreme situations; use of innovative forms, methods and information-communication technologies in the process of professional training; formation of stable positive motivation for the future professional activity using innovative learning technologies; the use of training simulators for the training of the future officers of the maritime trade fleet for work in extreme situations) the structural-functional model of the process under research has been developed, which consists of the blocks: target (goal and tasks of professional training), theoretical-content (includes scientific approaches, principles, regulatory-legal aspects of professional training, the content of vocational training (academic disciplines) in accordance with national and international standards for training of the future specialists in the maritime trade fleet, and also the peculiarities of such training); procedural-activity (forms, methods, means of professional training, recommendations for improvement of training), evaluative-productive (components, criteria, indicators and levels of formedness of readiness of the future officers of the Ukrainian maritime trade fleet for work in extreme situations (high, sufficient, average, low ), realization of the goal (result) – readiness of the future officers of the Ukrainian maritime trade fleet for work in extreme situations), as well as pedagogical conditions that provide such training.
The content of training of the future officers of the maritime trade fleet has been further developed, including their training for work in extreme situations; provisions regarding the peculiarities of training of the future specialists of the maritime industry; the essence of the notions of «training of the future officers of the maritime trade fleet», «training of the future officers of the maritime trade fleet for work in extreme situations», «readiness of the future officers of the maritime trade fleet for work in extreme situations», «extreme situations».
The results of the experimental work confirmed the validity of the pedagogical conditions and the structural-functional model of training of the future officers of the maritime trade fleet for work in extreme situations. Recommendations for improving the process of training of the future officers of the Ukrainian maritime trade fleet for work in extreme situations have been suggested.
