Essay

The object of the research: the predictors of optimal functioning of a personality. The purpose of the research: to identify personal entities, which are significant predictors for optimal functioning of a personality, and to develop a model of their influence on optimal functioning. The methods: theoretical methods (analysis, systematization, generalization of data), empirical methods (testing) and methods of mathematical statistics. Scientific novelty: for the first time a model of optimal functioning of a personality, manifested in psychological well-being and viability in connection with its sense and emotion-regulating predictors, was proposed; for the first time the role of trust as a mediator, which mediates the influence of sense and emotion-regulating formations, namely, values, subjective proximity to nature, emotional intelligence - on the optimal functioning of a personality, has been determined; got further development of theoretical positions about the importance of trust for the optimal functioning of a personality, namely, on its mediation role in the model of optimal functioning of a personality; the scientific knowledge about predictors of optimal functioning of a personality in the age of early maturity is supplemented and refined. Practical value of research: the model of optimal functioning of a personality is developed and implemented in psychocorrection program. Sphere of use: higher educational institutions, psychological services.
