The dissertation is devoted to theoretical and experimental study of the formation of creative initiative of teenagers in the process of solving educational problems. The first section presents a theoretical and methodological analysis of the psychological content of the “creative initiative” concept, provides insight into psychological peculiarities of the formation of creative initiative of adolescence and defines the main psychological conditions and means of its formation. On the basis of the conducted theoretical and methodological analysis, the author developed and presented a structural content model of the definition of “creative initiative”, in which five content components are identified: motivation, personality assessment, creativity, emotional willpower and activity. On the basis of the author's understanding of the concept of “creative initiative” and certain stages of solving the educational task, the author presents in the dissertation work the model of formation of the creative initiative of teenagers in the process of solving educational tasks, where the author identifies such psychological and pedagogical conditions and means of formation. Among the means of the creative initiative development in students, we highlight the following: business games and role play, performance, group discussions, conferences, project-oriented tasks, psychological and pedagogical training. The second section of the dissertation research presents the explanations of the methodology of studying the creative initiative of teenagers in the process of educational task completion, a complex of psycho diagnostic tools, in accordance with each defined content component of the creative initiative of teenagers. On the basis of the conducted mathematical-statistical analysis the interpretation of the obtained results of the observational study are presented. In the third section of the dissertation, the author identified the main stages of formation of creative initiative of teenagers: preparatory, diagnostic and forming; The training program of formation of creative initiative of teenagers in the process of educational tasks completion is grounded and presented. The content of the training program includes a system of psychological and pedagogical means for the development of each of the 5 selected content components of the creative initiative of the teenager: motivation ˗ through the formation of a positive image of educational activities, raising the level of educational motivation; personality assessment ˗ through the formation of an adequate level of self-esteem, self-reflection skills and self-perfection; creativity ˗ through the development of creativity thinking, the formation of verbal and communicative creativity; emotional willpower ˗ through the development of initiative, independence and persistence, as volitional personality traits; activity ˗ through the getting of positive experience of expressing creative initiative, the formation of intrinsic availability.
The effectiveness of the developed training program confirmed the results of the educational experiment, after which the indicators of creative initiative formation increased significantly in the experimental group (p≤0,05, p≤0,01), while such growth was not observed at the statistically significant level in the control group. The results of the educational experiment confirmed the possibility of targeted assistance in forming the creative initiative of teenagers in the educational process in educational institutions.
The scientific novelty of the research was grounded on the fact that in the dissertation research for the first time the structure-content model of creative initiative was substantiated theoretically and proposed the psychological conditions and psychological and pedagogical means of formation of creative initiative of teenagers in the process of solving educational tasks were determined, and the author's training program for the formation of creative initiatives of teenagers was created. The practical importance of the dissertation research is to develop a training program for the formation of a creative initiative of teenagers, which can be used by practical psychologists of educational institutions, employees of psychological services in order to develop the creativity and initiative of students in full. The single elements of the program may be useful in the practice of teachers, practical psychologists, social workers, trainers, parents and teenagers. The priority direction of further development of research subject is expanding the methodological basis of diagnosing and forming the creative initiative of students of different age groups in the process of solving educational tasks.
