Essay

The dissertation is devoted to research of psychological factors of life-creativity at primary school age. The paper summarizes the theoretical concepts related to life creativity which are studied in existential, humanistic, individual psychology and subject-activity approach of psychology; the main psychological factors of life-creativity are singled out and peculiarities of their manifestations in the midchildhood are researched; the types of primary school children according to the manifestations of life-creativity factors are determined; the dependence of psychological life-creativity factors on the child’s development environment is demonstrated. The midchildhood is a sensitive period for the formation of life-creativity factors: the transformation of immature psychological defenses in the mature ones takes place at this period due to the cognitive and emotional development; creativity elements are dynamic; reflection development is on the initial stage, in particular, its emotional component. The research paper reveals that life-creativity at midchildhood manifests itself in creativity, independence, diligence and caution. The content of life-creativity is determined by the creativity and adaptive mechanisms used by the children, as well as the level of self-esteem and anxiety. The development conditions, parental position in particular, determine the peculiarities of life-creativity content and its psychological factors.
