Lobanova A. Psychological features of personality intuition depending on risk propensity.

The dissertation research is devoted to the study of psychological peculiarities of personality intuition depending on risk propensity. The thesis identifies the main directions of the study of the intuition phenomenon; the model of influence of risk propensity on intuition of personality in connection with the leading activity is theoretically developed and empirically verified. The concept of sensual and rational intuition with the practical tools for their measurement is supplemented. The approaches to understanding intuition are identified – philosophical, epistemological, and psychological. In order to structure the scientific knowledge of intuition and factors that determine it, the approaches to division of intuition into types are systematized. The conducted theoretical analysis shows a lack of sufficient methodological support for the practical study of personality intuition and its peculiarities, which makes relevant the development of own diagnostic tools. A psychometric procedure for developing the questionnaire consisted of: a pilot study, an assessment of internal consistency of questions, determination of reliability, validity of the methodology, standardization of its results. The questionnaire aimed at determining the dominant type of personality intuition is developed.
