Usyk I. Structural transformation of the model of economic development of Ukraine in the context of globalization challenges

Object of the study: patterns and structural trends of transformation processes in models of economic development in conditions of globalization challenges; the purpose of the research: development of theoretical and methodological bases of structural transformation study of the model of development of national economies and development of scientific and practical recommendations on formation of mechanism of transformation of economy of Ukraine in the conditions of globalization challenges; research methods and equipment: methods of induction and deduction, structural-logical analysis, elements of systemic, structural-functional and comparative analysis, method of analysis and synthesis, methods of econometric evaluation and economic-mathematical modeling, graphic method; theoretical and practical results: the conceptual and categorical apparatus of research of the process of structural transformation of models of development of national economies in the conditions of globalization challenges has been improved, namely: systematized approaches to determining the essence of the category "development of the socio-economic system"; a scientific and methodological approach to a comprehensive assessment of the level of ability of the national economy to structural transformation is proposed, which includes an algorithm for determining integral, synthetic and analytical indicators based on the application of index methods; the concept of structural transformation of the model of development of the national economy is substantiated, the realization of which creates the content and essence of the functioning of the effective mechanism of structural transformation of the model of development of the national economy in the conditions of globalization; the mechanism of structural transformation of the model of development of the socio-economic system of Ukraine is developed, which aims at realization of the development priorities that are formed under the influence of the challenges of the global economic environment; provided a further methodological approach to building models of economic potential development of the country by types of economic activity, which allows to develop measures of national and international economic policy on the basis of economic development forecasts aimed at neutralizing the possible negative consequences of structural transformation of the economy and the challenges of global economic development; the theoretical and methodological approach to the study of the process of formation of the theory of structural transformations of models of development of the economy of countries under the influence of globalization challenges; priority directions of transformation of the model of development of economy of Ukraine in the conditions of globalization challenges are defined; degree of implementation: developments implemented in the practical activities of State Institution «Institute of Economics and Forecasting of NAS of Ukraine», Department of International Cooperation and Regional Development of Vinnytsia Regional State Administration, Donetsk Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Institute of Industrial Economics of NAS of Ukraine, in the educational process of the Vasyl’ Stus Donetsk National University; scope: improvement of transformation processes in models of economic development of countries in the conditions of globalization challenges.
