The object is the professional training of future specialists in nursing in medical colleges. The purpose is to scientifically substantiate and experimentally test the effectiveness of organizational and pedagogical conditions for the formation of professional and personal identity of future specialists in nursing in the process of education in medical college. Methods: theoretical, empirical, mathematical statistics for the quantitative and qualitative analysis of the results of the study and confirmation of the validity of the empirical data, their mathematical and graphical processing. The practical importance of the obtained research results is the development and implementation of educational and methodological complexes in the disciplines of medical and psychological direction "Fundamentals of Nursing", "Fundamentals of Psychology and Interpersonal Communication", "Nursing Ethics and Deontology"; preparation of a training manual on "Problem of personality in general and medical psychology" and training manual "Collection of situational tasks on the basics of nursing", development of methodological instructions for the implementation of practical classes in the discipline "Fundamentals of nursing".
