Essay

Dissertation is dedicated to a complex evaluation for the effectiveness to use of feed additives "Bio-mos" and "Nupro" in feeding different age groups of carp and channel catfish by means of measuring main fish-biological indicators. It was shown, that adding the feed additive "Bio-mos" to feed for carp larvae in amount of 0.3% of total feed weight increased the daily growth by 107.2-108.1%, as well as survival rate by 9.9-10.4%. Administration of feed additive "Bio-mos" for larvae of channel catfish in amount of 0.5%, boosted both daily growth and survival rate at the level of 56-58,3% and 32,8-34,6% respectively. It was noted that use of "Bio-mos" for feeding carp yerlings at concentration 5% of total feed weight enlarged fish productivity at the end of experiment by 41.1-57.7%, while a survival rate was 20.3-32.7%. By adding of 5% of feed additive to diet of channel catfish yerlings, the fish productivity was enhanced by 54.9-69.6%, and survival rate was higher than in control on 14.8-24.6%. The use 2% of "Bio-mos" for two-years old carp increased fish productivity by 16.8-20.5% as well as survival rate by 4.7-4.9%. It was estimated that using of "Bio-mos" for two years old channel catfish at amount of 5% increased fish productivity and survival by 43.3-44.2% and 12.8-13.9% respecctively. The use of feed additive "Nupro" for carp larvae at concentration of 0.5% by weight of total feed enlarged the daily growth by 97.3-104%, and survival by 2.6-2.9% compared to control. Feeding the "Nupro" for channel catfish larvae in amount of 0.5%, increased daily growth up to 57.9-59.15%, and enhanced a survival rate of 20.4-22.2%. Implementation of "Nupro" for carp yerlings in an amount of 3% boosted fish productivity by 28.5-40.8%, at the same time a survival was increased by 15.2-27.2%. Feeding "Nupro" to yerlings of channel catfish at concentration of 3% enhanced fish productivity by 137,2-143,6%, and survival was raised up to 20-20,3% comparing control. The use of 5% "Nupro" for two-years-old carp increased productivity and survival by by 49.7-67.8% and 2.4% respectively. It was shown that "Nupro" at a concentration of 5%, increased productivity of channel catfish by 43.5-47.7% while the survival rate was higher than in control on 10.2-11.7%.
