Essay

The thesis deals with the problem of forming the future social workers’ readiness to organize volunteer activities of student youth. Basing on the theoretical analysis of academic sources and normative documents on the problem of research, it was determined that the current state of development of the system of future social workers’ training for the implementation of the specified activity is characterized by a lack of interdisciplinary links and organizational and content support in the system of training and practical training. The content of the concepts "preparation of future social workers for organizing volunteer activity of student youth" and "readiness of future social workers for organizing volunteer activity of student youth" are defined. The essence and structure of future social workers' willingness to organize volunteering activities of student youth (represented by motivational, personal, cognitive and operational components) were identified. The criteria (motivational-value, personality-reflexive, cognitive knowledge, operational and activity) and indicators of the future social workers' willingness to organize volunteer activity of student youth are specified and substantiated. Methods as well as organizational and pedagogical conditions for forming the future social workers’ readiness to organize volunteer activity of student youth were developed, theoretically substantiated and implemented. A model of methodology was developed that allows to graphically represent the set of interconnected components (blocks), which ensure its effectiveness, appropriate organizational and methodological support and performance indicators, to represent structural and functional patterns and systemic links between its structural elements. The components of the methodology are defined and characterized: target component (purpose, task, structure of readiness), methodological component (scientific approaches and principles), substantive-procedural component (organizational and pedagogical conditions, stages of preparation, content, forms, methods and means); result component (criteria, levels and result of training). The organizational and pedagogical conditions of forming the readiness of future social workers to organize volunteering activities of student youth were determined: they are the creation of a practice-oriented environment aimed at forming positive motivation and stable cognitive interests of students in organizing volunteer activity; forms and methods of professional training of future social workers to organizing activities of volunteering students, attracting future social workers to actively volunteer with pupils to enrich their professional experience. The efficiency of implementation of the methodology in the educational process of professional training of students of specialty 231 "Social work" of the first (bachelor's level) at the appropriate stages (preparatory-motivational, educational-practical and creative-reflexive) is evidenced by the positive dynamics of indicators of their readiness level.
