Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the research of the problem of preparation of prospective Mathematics teachers for the development of intellectual culture of GSEI pupils. Readiness of aprospective Mathematics teacher to develop pupils’ intellectual culture is defined as a complex property of their personality which includes the formation of their own intellectual culture, the presence of stable motivation for the development of pupils’ culture, as well as mastery of theoretical knowledge, methods and technologies for effective implementation of the process under study at GSEI. The structure of aprospective Mathematics teacher’s readinessfor developingpupils’ intellectual culture is determined through the unity of three interrelated components: motivational, theoretical and practical.
