Essay

Object: the process of the formation of polycultural competence of future managers of tourism in higher educational establishments; aim: to substantiate theoretically and to verify experimentally the efficiency of the worked out pedagogical conditions of the formation of polycultural competence of future managers of tourism in the process of their professional training at higher educational establishments; methods: analysis, synthesis, comparison, generalization, systematization of scientific sources and state regulatory documents, modeling, observation, survey, testing, pedagogical experiment, methods of mathematical statistics; novelty: pedagogical conditions of the formation of polycultural competence of future managers of tourism have been worked out, theoretically substantiated and implemented into the educational process by means of integration of the content of the culturological training of students while learning professionally oriented subjects, realization of interactive forms and methods of teaching on the basis of the creation of patterns of polycultural interaction, activization of independent educational activity of students via the organization of practical training abroad; results: the program and educational methodic supplement of the special course “Tourism As a Dialogue of Cultures” have been worked out as well the integrative informational modules in disciplines of social and humanitarian, fundamental, natural and scientific, general economic training of students; the repository of situations of polycultural orientation for the realization of the interactive method of “Cultural Assimilator” and the themes of educational and scientific projects have been created; the method-guides for students and teachers on the organization of practical training abroad have been developed; field – theory and methods of professional education
