Rozinkevych N. Ukrainian travel prose in the early XXI century: themes, issues, poetic style.

The peculiarities of the development and existence of Ukrainian travel prose as a literary phenomenon in the early XXI century in the fiction, non-fiction, belles non-fiction discourses, which are functioning in global cultural changes of informational society, have been first analyzed in the thesis. A few discrepancies (indistinct conceptual categorical system; description and obscure genre (metagenre) identification; out-of-balance typology classifications; world outlook changes of social cultural context) in understanding of the nature of travel prose impelled to study this phenomenon and determined the use of certain methodology. In the work, the behavioral types of traveller characters are systematized. The theoretical and practical significance of obtained results is that the conclusions and generalizations of the thesis can be used for further study of existence of metagenre of travel prose in Ukrainian literature of the XXI century, for the development of scientific studies on the peculiarities of the poetic styles of narratives of travel prose in the early XXI century.
