Demydenko O. Intellectual migration of Ukraine’s сitizens under the conditions of globalization.

The dissertation is devoted to the study of the phenomenon of intellectual migration of Ukrainian citizens in the conditions of increasing globalization processes. It has a significant impact on the independent Ukrainian state, its potential and positioning in international relations. Intellectual migration is caused by a complex of factors. The most common of these are the economic motive and the desire for self-realization. The phenomenon under study is significant in its implications. The phenomenon of intellectual migration becomes a natural reaction to the current state of the world space. Therefore, the policy of the migrant donor state - advocated by Ukraine - cannot be based on artificially restricting migration. Instead, the paper proposes recommendations for creating an adequate national strategy that should be based on the principles of “soft” regulation of migration.
