Essay

The dissertation determines the essence of future nurses’ professional ethics as a complex professionally important personal quality which integrates the humanistic value orientations, professional and ethical principles, acquired in the process of moral qualities’ professionalization governing professional activity and communication. It was based on the analysis of psychological, pedagogical literature and peculiarities of future nurses’ professional formation. There are four interrelated components in the structure of professional ethics of future nurses: motivational-value, which reflects the formation of professional-ethical position and personal attitude to the values of professional activity (humanism, charity and preservation of patients' life and health); cognitive, which characterizes the competence of future nurses in the field of professional ethics, understanding of the norms and principles of medical deontology; personal, represented by professionally important moral qualities of the individual, and active, that finds expression in the formation of practical skills to establish constructive relationships with subjects of the healing process on the basis of norms and values of medical ethics and deontology.
