Essay

The object is physical rehabilitation of patients with lumbar osteochondrosis during surgical treatment; aim - to substantiate and develop a program of physical rehabilitation of patients with lumbar osteochondrosis with different variants of myotonic reactions after stabilization operations with the use of metal structures; methods: theoretical analysis and generalization, sociological methods, clinical, biomechanical; pedagogical, methods of mathematical statistics; novelty: for the first time on the basis of qualitative and quantitative indices of functional condition of locomotor apparatus the program of physical rehabilitation of patients with lumbar osteochondrosis has been scientifically substantiated; for the first time it has been proved that the use of the program of physical rehabilitation with differentiated approach to suppression (soothing) of myotonic reactions on the stages of surgical treatment contributes to genuinely higher level of elimination of functional disorders, authentic reduction of the pain intensity; for the first time the sequence of the arrangement, structure and contents of the training programs with the purpose of the increase of the results has been substantiated; results: the program of physical rehabilitation of the patients with lumbar osteochondrosis after stabilization has been developed and implemented into practice; practical recommendations for specialists in physical rehabilitation of patients with osteochondrosis have been worked out; the developed program may be recommended to specialists in physical rehabilitation and used during the studies of the students of the specialized higher institutions within the course “Physical Rehabilitation for locomotor apparatus disorder”; the results of the research have been implemented into clinical practice of State Institution “Professor M.I. Sytenko Institute of Spine and Joints Pathology of National Academy of Ministry of Science of Ukraine”, Municipal Institution of Healthcare “Kharkiv Town Clinical Multi-Discipline Hospital # 17”, Municipal Institution of Healthcare “Kharkiv Town Clinical Multi-Discipline Hospital # 18”, Municipal Institution of Healthcare “Kharkiv Town Clinical Traumatology Hospital”, Municipal Institution of Healthcare “Kharkiv Regional Clinical Hospital”, as well as in the lecture course and practical classes of the departments of traumatology and orthopaedics of Kharkiv National Medical University of Ministry of Healthcare of Ukraine; field – physical rehabilitation and sport.
