Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the problem of individual training of a female athlete with visual impairments for the Paralympic Games. The purpose of the work is to substantiate the individual construction of the training process of an elite athlete with impaired vision in sprint in track and field on the basis of neurodynamic and biomechanical parameters. Material and methods. The study involved a highly skilled female athlete specializing in short distance and long jump, the European Athletics Champion (2010), the Paralympic Games winner and the World Championships (2016) for Athletes with Disabilities (Category T12). T12 is a category of visually impaired athletes. All athletes with disabilities are classified according to the degree of visual impairment. The experimental athlete performs in the T12 category due to myopia in combination with retinal dystrophy. However, close to the screen (30-50 cm) the athlete can work on the computer. Neurodynamic parameters (time of simple and complex visual-reaction, time of reaction to sound, strength and mobility of nervous system), biomechanical indicators of distance running, results of running of short segments were determined. The number of measurements of each indicator is 36. Testing was carried out at the end of the preparatory period of 2015 and at the end of the preparatory period of 2016. The efficiency of application of the program for preparation for the Paralympics of an elite athlete with impaired vision is shown on the basis of the neurodynamic features of the athlete and biomechanical analysis of indicators of motion of the ankle and knee joints, as well as the angle in the knee joint and the force that develops the lower extremity. Significant improvement in the biomechanical characteristics of limb movement was found by eliminating delay during lowering of the leg after hip removal. Significant improvement in the biomechanical characteristics of limb movement was found by eliminating delay during lowering of the leg after hip removal. Significant improvement in running time of 100 m was revealed. As a result, at the 2016 Paralympics, the athlete became the world champion and the 2016 Paralympic silver medalist. Practical significance of work is confirmed by the acts of introduction of the developed system of individualization into the training process of the combined team of athletics of the sports club "UMID" (Baku, Azeybarjan); in the training process of the preparation of the national teams of athletics and in the initial process of H.S. Skovoroda Kharkiv National Pedagogical University, Communal institution "Complex children and youth sports school of KhTZ" of the Kharkiv Regional Council, Communal institution "Complex children and youth sports school №4" of the Kharkiv city council, Kharkiv Republican Boarding School of Sports Profile.
