Essay

The thesis substantiates the personal adaptive definition of forming the sovereignty of students’ psychological space. It details major categorial and notional aspects of the phenomenon of personality’s psychological space sovereignty; views conceptual positions of personal adaptive conditionality of forming the psychological space sovereignty in student years. The dissertation identifies the complex of its adaptive predictors (desire for self-realization, communicative attractiveness, integral harmony, positive perception of reality, and psychological well-being). It adds to scientific ideas regarding the semantic integration of the system of students’ attitude to life. The dissertation empirically explicates the structure of the factorization of personal adaptive characteristics of students with different levels of psychological space sovereignty and specifies its forms (personal adaptive diffusion, personal adaptive rationality, and personal adaptive balance). The thesis notes the mechanisms of their functional interconnection (accumulation, optimization, and intensification), and offers an empirical model of personal adaptive predictors forming students’ psychological space sovereignty.
