Essay

The most stressful factors for the ATO participants were found to be the stress factors of the combat situation, which cause the occurrence of psychological traumatization in them. They were: «fear of captivity», «capture of battle brothers, comrades», «events that resulted in honor and dignity», «situations that threaten life and physical integrity», «command errors», «injuries, mutilation», «deaths of civilians and brothers», «horrific pictures of death, human loss and suffering», «fears, fear of one's own death», «stressors of moral character», «contact with a large number of wounded people», «the need to process a large amount of information and the need for decision making», «dissatisfaction with biological and social needs», «sexual disharmony», «abrupt, unexpected changes in service conditions», «smells of gases, corpses, etc.», «physical destruction of fighters (especially for the first time)». It is found that indicators of psychological traumatization are indicators: assessments of post-traumatic reactions, level of resistance to combat stress, neuro-psychological stability and regulation of behavior, military-vocational orientation, deviant behavior, suicidal risk, acute stress symptoms, («invasion», «avoidance», hyperactivation, distress and maladaptation), post-traumatic stress disorder, depression, psychophysiological state (state of health, activity, mood, work capacity, interest in participating in the ATO, the desire to perform tasks in the area of ATO, confidence), hypochondria, depression, hysteria, psychiatric symptoms. Dependence of the level of satisfaction with the quality of life of servicemen on their psychological traumatization was established.
