The dissertation is devoted to the formation of ethical competence of future bachelors in jurisprudence in the process of professional training. Theoretical foundations of forming ethical competence of future bachelors in jurisprudence in professional training through the prism of pedagogy, psychology, philosophy, sociology, and cultural studies are revealed. The concepts, that make up conceptual and categorical apparatus of the research, such as «competence», «professional competence», «ethics», «morality», «ethical competence», «professional culture», «professional ethical competence of future bachelors in jurisprudence» have been defined, their interconnectedness and interdependence have been identified. The component structure of professional ethical competence of future bachelors in law is identified, studied and substantiated. It includes motivational, personal, operational-activity and evaluation-reflexive components, each of which is characterized by a specific content. The system of special pedagogical measures aimed at forming professional ethical competence of future bachelors in jurisprudence in the process of professional training is presented in our dissertation as a structural-functional model, which includes purpose and objectives, principles, approaches, component structure of the process under study, conception, organizational and pedagogical conditions, content, forms and methods of implementation; criteria and indicators, levels of ethical competence of future lawyers and the final result. Structural and functional model of formation of professional ethical competence of future bachelors in jurisprudence in the process of professional training reflects holistic, polystructural and synergistic nature of the legal educational process
