The thesis is devoted to the study of representation in economic litigation. The concept of representation in economic litigation is described. The existing classifications of the representation in the economic litigation are analyzed and the author’s division of the representation in the commercial litigation is proposed, namely, the expediency of introducing this type of representation in the economic litigation is substantiated, which is necessitated by the need to protect the public interest and legal interests. In turn, it is proposed to divide the socially necessary representation into public and private. The peculiarities of the legal status of the advocate as a representative in the commercial proceedings are revealed. The status of legal representatives in commercial litigation is characterized. The essence of self-representation in economic proceedings is investigated. The peculiarities of representation of the state interests by prosecutor in economic proceedings were clarified.
